Construction Documents

The files in the table below are provided in different formats. There are two Adobe Acrobat files. One large and one small. The large file has more visible detail and can be printed on a large-format printer on ANSI D (24"x36") paper. The small PDF is suitable for printing on legal-size (8-1/2" x 14") paper on most office printers. There is also a DWG file that may prove useful providing you have a CAD program that can read DWG files. There is also a plot file if you wish to have the drawing plotted by a plotting service (Driver to use: DesignJet 750C Plus C4709B). If you have any questions, please contact our construction manager. His contact information can be found on the Contacts Page.

Description: 3000 sqft community centre c/w 3 halls, bathrooms, kitchen, storage, and mechanical rooms.

Bidding: is invited from suitably qualified organizations to supply and install a range of equipment and materials to effect a variety of sub-trade work in the construction of the Darling White Lake Community Centre (DWLCC), including the following: excavation work (stumping and grubbing and removal of debris, rough grading, final grading, engineered fill, and roadwork), electrical services, septic system, well, signage, rough landscaping, and other related trade work not specifically mentioned here. Successful bidders must be prepared to work closely with community volunteers as much of the work will be performed by volunteers. Phase I is anticipated to commence in September 2007 and be completed by October 2007. Detailed drawings can be downloaded for review from www.dwlcc.com/documents.htm

All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelop with the following written clearly on it: “DWLCC – Bid for ‘your-trade-here’, c/o Gord Pike” No late bids will be accepted. Selection will be based on a variety of evaluation criteria that we feel is in the best interests of the DWLCC, and the lowest bid may not be the bid accepted.

Other instructions: in lieu of any ‘discount’ you may offer, we ask that you include with your competitive bid a letter outlining what you may wish to donate to the DWLCC. As the DWLCC is registered as a non-profit, charitable organization, we are able to issue a tax receipt for any donations received over $50.00

Phase II General Building Construction and Associated Trades. Details will be announced in 2008.
